The Faithful Playstation 2 and The Benefits It Continues to Offer

There are many new video game systems available on the market. The Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 are currently the two most popular. They are packed with features that have never before been included on a video game system. However some people do not need all these features and merely want to play some games. The PlayStation 2 is one of the finest video game systems ever made and can often be the best choice for these kinds of people.

During its glory days the PlayStation 2 was the best there was. The popularity of the PlayStation 2 could not come close to being matched by the Xbox when it was first released. A full decade of video gaming was basically dominated by the PlayStation 2 system. There are so many people who still prefer the system prompting today’s video game designer’s sill make games for it. There is new life given to this system consistently which makes it still the number one video game system.

The system can do other basic things in addition to playing games. Although it may not be used very often the system can play games from the original PlayStation. Those who like this feature typically have a couple old PlayStation games that are old favorites. You can play some regular DVDs too. There is no need to have an extra DVD player in the house as long as the PlayStation 2 is owned. They can simply watch their movies and TV shows on the same system they play games on.

A brand new video game system isn’t something that is needed for everyone. The newer systems have run into hardware issues in many cases where the system has stopped working. This means that it isn’t a bad option to just purchase a compact PlayStation 2. Thousands of great games and all of your DVDs can all be played on the system. You will have a system that will last for many years to come since there are still new games being made for the PlayStation 2.

The Best Point and Shoot Camera in the Market

Great point and shoot cameras are very hard to come across. Usually these cameras boast very high megapixel counts, but these counts do not robotically make the image quality better. These cameras often have major downsides instead. The correct subject of the pictures is often not focused. Lower light situations are also very poor quality. Across the entire range of cameras on the market most of the features are very limited when compared.

More features and abilities than any other company are given by Sony which is one of the only ones that does this for point and shoots. Their cyber shot line of cameras has become known as one of the best. A cyber shot camera that was better than any they released before was put on the market. It can shoot images with up to 10 mega pixels and is called the DSC HX5V. Mega pixels are not the only way to measure a camera though, since this may seem like a low number for such a high end camera.

The sensor in this camera was made to excel in low light situations. Shooting low light photos like no other point and shoot around is its specialty, especially with the very bright flash. Incredible features are also packed in it. For panoramic photos this camera has a feature that takes them easily. Once you put the camera in this mode and scan the area you want a picture of it will piece together a panoramic photo for you. You will impress all of your friends with the end result of incredible panoramic shots.

Point and shoots have basic features but this camera improves upon all of them. The red eye reduction truly works, unlike many cameras which claim this feature. Smiles are detected with ease as well. The pictures it takes are breathtaking most importantly. You have to see one to believe that all of this comes from a camera that can fit in a pocket.

Get Your Nikon CoolPix S8100

Info PR: n/a I: 29,500,000 L: 0 LD: 213,055,473 I: 625,000Rank: 5 Age: October 12, 1999 I: 0 whoissourceRobo: yesSitemap: no Rank: 1643 Price: 907036 Density
The Nikon CoolPix S8100 is an outstanding compact mega zoom camera. The S8100 was an upgrade to Nikon’s S8000. Although the megapixel count has dropped from 14 megapixels to 12.1 megapixels you won’t notice the difference. The 10x optical zoom remains the same between the two cameras. The Lens is the equivalent to a 30-300 mm lens.

A new upgrade to the S8100 is the BSI (backside illuminated) CMOS sensor. The BSI CMOS sensor will allow more light into the diode therefore the camera should be able to take pictures in lower light levels. This great indoor photo capable camera with fast shutter speed and camera responsiveness is also very fast.

It is compact at 4.1 x 2.4 x 1.2 inches, the S8100 is just the right size for a compact camera. It is small enough to fit your shirt pocket, yet large enough to hold in your hand comfortably. It also has a very sharp and clear three-inch LCD display on the back. The controls are incredibly easy to use and simple to figure out. The camera has a small telescoping lens which shows a small amount of distortion when it reaches it maximum zoom, though that is a common problem with most telescoping lenses.

You can take very clear pictures because the camera uses two different strategies to deal with stabilization. It has both optical and digital stabilization. The camera also has a macro setting that is great. It was amazing to see how close you could get and the fine level of detail picked up by the camera. The S8100 offers a full range of ISO settings. It offers both manual setups from 160 to 3200 along with auto settings for those less inclined to play around. Reported to be the best around 200 on the ISO range.

You can take both JPEG and .MOV videos. The pictures are recorded at 4000 x 3000 pixels, while video is recorded at 1080p at 30 frames a second. The videos are ok on this camera but a dedicated video camera would be better.

The CoolPix S8100 makes a great buy running between $250 and $300. You really get a very nice camera at this price. Customers and professionals alike are giving the CoolPix S8100 two thumbs up.
